There is one clarifying amendment by Council Member Henderson that does not change what the bill does. https://lims.dccouncil.gov/downloads/LIMS/51529/Bill_Amendment/B24-1070-Bill_Amendment.pdf

B24-1070 was introduced on 10/27/2022 and is sponsored by Council Member Henderson and Chairman Mendelson.

This bill is the temporary amendment to delay the date by which school students must be vaccinated against COVID-19 from the 2022-2023 school year to the 2023-2024 school year. The mandate for all public, public charter, independent, private and parochial school students was passed when B24-0423 was enacted on March 2, 2022, and effective beginning the 2022-2023 school year.

NVIC has a "WATCH" position on this bill because the DC Council should eliminate the mandate and not just delay it. NVIC is opposed to vaccine mandates.
