S1331 was introduced again on Jan. 4, 2012.  However the bill has had no activity since it was introduced.

Bill S1331 would amend the public health law to enact a philosophical exemption to immunizations for parents/guardians who have a personal objection to immunizations based on philosophical reasons.

Please contact your own Assembly Member and Senator to tell them how important it is to your family to have the right in New York to be able to delay or decline a vaccine for your child.  Ask if they would be willing to co-sponsor this bill or file the bill as a companion in the Assembly.
