Description:

UPDATE: 1/25/2015 - A 2570 has not moved since being introduced in 2014.  Bills carry over to odd years in NJ.  The current session will run until 1/12/16.

AB 2570 was introduced on Feb. 10, 2014 and referred to the Health and Senior Services Committee.  The bill is sponsored by Assemblyman Gregory McGuckin. 

The bill states: a health care provider shall not administer to any person in this State an influenza vaccine that contains more than 0.5 micrograms of mercury per 0.25 milliliter dose to a child under three years of age or 1.0 microgram of mercury per 0.5 milliliter dose to a person over three years of age, and any other vaccine that contains more than a trace amount of mercury.
