UPDATE: 5/276/2023 - SB 276 failed to be scheduled for a hearing in the Senate Judiciary Committee before the session adjourned on 5/26/2023. All bills on which no final action has been taken by the time of adjournment of the regular session in odd-numbered years are held over for consideration at the regular session convening in even-numbered years. This bill is eligible to carryover to 2024.

SB 276 was introduced on 2/6/2023 by Senator Nathan Dahm.
SB 276 adds vaccination status and immunization status to current employer discrimination law which already prohibits discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, and genetic information. Disability is included unless the employer can demonstrate the accommodation for the disability would would impose an undue hardship on the operation of the business of such employer.
If the bill passes, its provisions shall take effect and be in full force after its passage and approval.
