Some words of thanks

I want to thank everyone who had followed our recent alert to call the governor, speaker, and lieutenant governor to get us some help with these awful employer vaccine mandates.  Your hard work paid off and that is how we got to this opportunity.

On Monday, October 11th, Governor Greg Abbott issued an executive order banning COVID-19 vaccine mandates by any entity on any individual including employees and customers.  He also added this item to the call of our special session so we can try and pass a law codifying this. Several bills have been filed, but only 2 are moving so far and special session ends Tuesday October 19th. Time is of the essence.  Please stay tuned for more calls, emails, visits and possible testimony needed at the capitol.

Sincerely,

Dawn Richardson, Director of Advocacy and the NVIC Advocacy Team
