Description:

The governor of Hawaii issued an emergency proclamation on 10/01/2021 after an earlier proclamation issued on 08/05/2021, which implemented vaccine mandates for state and county employees in Hawaii. The 10/01/2021 proclamation continues this mandate.

State and county employees must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or submit to regular testing at no cost to their employers. They may receive COVID-19 tests at one of the state’s free testing sites, or must pay for their tests themselves. Likewise, personnel employed by contractors who provide services to the state must either be vaccinated against COVID-19 or tested regularly.
