Continue to educate your legislators on this issue as efforts to mandate HPV Vaccines will continue in Washington State.  

Dear Washington State NVIC Advocacy Members,

Your action is needed to stop efforts by the Washington State Board of Health to mandate HPV Vaccines for school children in Washington.

The Washington State Board of Health will have a public meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020.  One of the items on the agenda is a petition for Rulemaking to add HPV to chapter 246-105 WAC Immunization of Child Care and School Children Against Certain Vaccine-Preventable Diseases, with Possible Action.

ACTION NEEDED:

1)     Attend the hearing and provide comments during the public comment period on Jan. 8th, 9:30 a.m. – 2:35 p.m. at the Department of Health - 111 Israel Road SE, Town Center 2 Rooms 166/167 Tumwater, WA 98501

2)     Provide written comments.  Comments received after 12:00 Noon the Friday before the meeting will be printed and given to Board members the day of the meeting.  You may bring printed copies of your testimony to the meeting for Board and staff members.  All testimony we collect is subject to Disclosure under the Public Records Act.
