UPDATE: 5/15/2015 - SB 533 is on the calendar for 3rd reading in the house. 

UPDATE: 5/6/2015 - HB 976 has a 2nd hearing on 5/6 in the Senate Governmental Accountability and Fiscal Oversight Commitee and was passed by that committee.  SB 533 was referred to the House Select Committee on Social Services.

7. All public, private, and parochial day care centers, preschools, and nursery
43 schools shall notify the parent or guardian of each child at the time of initial enrollment
44 in or attendance at the facility that the parent or guardian may request notice of whether
45 there are children currently enrolled in or attending the facility for whom an immunization
46 exemption has been filed. Beginning December 1, 2015, all public, private, and parochial
47 day care centers, preschools, and nursery schools shall notify the parent or guardian of
48 each child currently enrolled in or attending the facility that the parent or guardian may
49 request notice of whether there are children currently enrolled in or attending the facility
50 for whom an immunization exemption has been filed. Any public, private, or parochial day
51 care center, preschool, or nursery school shall notify the parent or guardian of a child
52 enrolled in or attending the facility, upon request, of whether there are children currently
53 enrolled in or attending the facility for whom an immunization exemption has been filed.

UPDATE: 4/30/2015 - HB 976 had a public hearing in the Senate Senate Seniors, Families, and Children Committee on 4/28/2015 and was passed on 4/29. The bill was also amended - http://house.mo.gov/billtracking/bills151/amendpdf/2088H02.06H.pdf 

SB 533 passed 3rd reading in the senate on 4/28/2015.

HB 976 was introduced on 2/17/15 and is sponsored by Representative Diane Franklin. The bill requires day care centers and preschools notify parents if there are children in attending the school who have exempted or delayed one or more of the vaccines mandated for school in MO.

This bill would add the following into law:

7. All public, private, and parochial day care centers, preschools, and nursery schools shall notify the parent or guardian of each child at the time of initial enrollment in or attendance at the facility that the parent or guardian may request notice of whether there are children currently enrolled in or attending the facility for whom an immunization exemption has been filed. Any public, private, or parochial day care center, preschool, or nurse ry school shall notify the parent or guardian of a child enrolled in or attending the facility, upon request, of whether there are children currently enrolled in or attending the
