UPDATE: 6/21/2015 - Signed by the governor on June 18, 2015. 

UPDATE: 6/11/2015 - SB 505 passed 3rd reading and final vote in the house by a vote of 47 yes and 12 no.  

UPDATE: 5/22/2014 - SB 505 had a public hearing in the House Health Committee on 5/4/2015. the bill is now scheduled for a work session on  5/29/15.

UPDATE: 3/22/2015 - SB 505 passed the full senate on 3/12/2015.  The bill now in the house and referred to the House Health Committee.  

UPDATE: 3/9/2015 - SB 505 had a public hearing in the Senate Health Committee on 3/2/2015.  The bill is scheduled for a work session in Senate Health for 3/9/2015.

UPDATE: 6/8/15 - SB 505 is scheduled for a final vote in the house. The bill has passed the senate. 

SB 505 was introduced on 2/3/2015 and referred to the Senate Health Committee.  The bill  is sponsored by Senator Monnes Anderson and Senator Alan Bates. 

This bill would Require,  from  October 1 through March 1 of each year, each hospital in Oregon to make offer
to  each  patient  of  hospital  who  is  65  years  of  age  or  older  to  immunize  patient  against  influenza
virus.
