SB 362 was introduced on Jan. 29, 2015.  The bill is sponsored by Senators Ivey - Soto and McMillan.  The Senate Public Affairs Committee did not support the original version and has offered a substitute bill on 2/16/15.  The substitute version removes the ability to opt out of the vaccine tracking system.

This bill removes the ability of parents to refuse to allow immunizations to be reported to the tracking system.  It also makes several changes to the public health laws concerning powers and authority of the health dept.
