Description:

UPDATE: HB 670 did not have any activity after being referred to the House Elementary and Secondary Education Committee on May 15, 2015 and it died. 

HB 670 was introduced on Jan. 27, 2015 and is sponsored by Rep. Clem Smith. This bill requires any course in sexual education inlcude information about the vaccine for human papilloma virus, which may prevent cervical cancer, genital warts, infertility, and other reproductive health problems, when administered prior to becoming sexually active.

The bill does not require any information be given about the risks or failures of HPV Vaccine.
