Ginal was passed by a vote of 7 Yes and 6 No.  Representatives who voted Yes to kill the bill did not support The Parent's Bill of Rights, those voting NO to kill the bill did.

UPDATE: 2/18/2015 - SB 77 is scheduled for a hearing in the  House Public Health Care & Human Services Committee on 3/17/2015 at 1:30 PM in Room HCR 0107, which is in the basement of the capitol building.   Contact the members of the House Public Health Care & Human Services Committee and ask them to support parental rights by voting yes on SB 77.

UPDATE: 2/6/2015 - A hearing was held in the Colorado State Senate Education Committee on Feb. 5, 2015 for SB 077.  The bill passed the committee on a 5 to 4 vote.  The bill is scheduled to be heard by the full senate on 2/11/2015.

IfSB 077 was introduced on Jan. 14, 2015 and referred to the Senate Education Committee.  The bill is sponsored by Senators Neville T., Marble, Woods, Holbert, Cooke, Crowder, Grantham and Roberts and Representatives Neville P., Saine, Humphrey and Everett. 

The bill establishes a parent's bill of rights that sets forth specific



parental rights related to education, health care, and mental health care of



minor children, including the following new section concerning vaccination:





 (1) THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF A SCHOOL DISTRICT, IN CONSULTATION



WITH PARENTS, TEACHERS, AND ADMINISTRATORS, SHALL DEVELOP AND



ADOPT A POLICY TO PROMOTE THE INVOLVEMENT OF PARENTS OF



CHILDREN ENROLLED IN THE SCHOOLS WITHIN THE SCHOOL DISTRICT.THE



POLICY MUST INCLUDE: (among other things) 

(g) PROCEDURES BY WHICH A PARENT CAN LEARN ABOUT THE PARENTAL RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES UNDER THE LAWS OF THIS STATE, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO:

(IV) BE EXEMPT FROM ANY IMMUNIZATION LAWS OF THIS STATE;
