III. Nothing in this section shall require an immunization/vaccination requirement for
diseases that are noncommunicable. "Noncommunicable disease" means a disease that is not
infectious or transmissible from person-to-person.

HB 362 was introduced on 1/5/2017 and referred to the House Health, Human Services and Elderly Affairs Committee. This bill is sponsored by Representatives Fraser, Gould, Murphy and W. Marsh, and Senator Avard.
This bill would prohibit requiring children be vaccinated for diseases that are noncommunicable in a child care or school setting, including, but not limited to, hepatitis B. The new law would go into effect 60 days after passage.
