UPDATE 5/28/2017: SB 431 died failing to get a committee hearing.

UPDATE 2/7/2017: SB 431 was referred to the Senate Committee on Health & Human Services on 2/6/2017.

SB 431 was introduced on 1/6/2017 and is sponsored by Senator Rodríguez.  This bill expands to authority of advanced practice registered nurses to sign or issue certain documents, including medical exemptions to vaccination. 

Because this bill is addressing the current law for exemptions, it needs to be watched for any negative amendments.
