HB 331 was prefiled on 12/27/2016 for the 2017 legislative session that begins on This bill is sponsored by Rep. Lynn Morris. This bill would add the following new section 3 to existing law:
3. Beginning August 28, 2018, no vaccine containing mercury or other metal for preservation or other purpose shall be administrated to a child or adult in a public health clinic in Missouri.
Exemptions would apply if if the director finds, and the governor concurs, that an actual or potential public health emergency exists, including an epidemic, outbreak, or shortage for which there does not exist a sufficient supply of vaccine that complies with subsection 1 or 3.
