HB 1550 was introduced on 3/2/2015 and referred to the House Public Health, Welfare and Labor Committee.  The bill was returned by the committee with a Do Pass recommendation on 3/5/2015 and passed the full house on 3/9/2015.  This is a very fast pace for any bill.  The bill is now in the senate and was referred to the Senate Committee on Public Health, Welfare, and Labor on 3/9/2015. 

The bill is sponsored by Rep. Maggie.

This bill removes current law that requires vaccine providers to obtain consent from adults 22 and older before the provider reports the administration of the vaccine to the department and the vaccine registry.
